unCommon is committed to providing a safe environment for Apprentices to learn and build equity amongst their cohort. As our schools and business continue to navigate the balance between virtual and remote, we know that the construction industry will continue to happen mostly in person. We’ve spent the past year learning from partners and working with a small team on site to develop new habits and best practices for safety. We do this in order to continue building in a way that prepares young people for the reality of work and life after graduation. Please review our COVID-19 guidelines below:

unCommon Construction's high school apprentices build a house in a semester, gaining technical, professional and personal skills. uCC's unique program model allows students to earn pay and school credit as they work together toward a more equitable future.

unCommon Construction is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; EIN #47-3623284. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for your financial donation. unCommon Construction will provide a receipt for your voluntary donation.
