uCC’s Opportunity Fair is an opportunity for youth and partners to network and connect. Whether you have immediate job opportunities or not, your participation is critical to helping our youth gain valuable exposure to the jobs and careers that await after graduation. While there is no expectation that apprentices will be hired on the spot, our aim is to use this opportunity to find a good match for our youth and partners.

By signing up, you are registering to participate in the build on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Lunch will be provided and additional information and a safety waiver will be sent to your email before the Build Day.

NOTE: Your role as a volunteer centers around sharing an experience while learning skills from and alongside unCommon's high school apprentices, who are paid employees of the organization. As such, uCC does not work with high school-age volunteers, and all volunteer participants must be at least 18 years old to ensure the youth on our build sites are in clearly defined roles.

unCommon Construction's high school apprentices build a house in a semester, gaining technical, professional and personal skills. uCC's unique program model allows students to earn pay and school credit as they work together toward a more equitable future.
